In response to intensifying market competition and evolving customer demands, Guizhou Qianjin Rubber & Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Qianjin Rubber & Plastic”) proactively embraced the call of the times. To scientifically enhance the production environment and comprehensively advance the implementation of lean production, the company convened a Lean Production Kickoff Meeting on July 31, 2024. Attendees included members of Qianjin Rubber & Plastic's leadership team and representatives from the Operations and Production Group. Chongqing Shupusheng Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. was specially invited to provide guidance on lean production practices.

At the kickoff meeting, the consultant team leader first provided a detailed explanation of the overall implementation plan for the lean production project. This included an introduction to the project's background, objectives, key tasks, timeline, and expected outcomes. Emphasis was placed on how critical measures—such as process optimization, standardized operations, and inventory management improvements—would achieve significant production efficiency gains and effective cost control, ensuring every improvement step was grounded in scientific decision-making. Following this, a project member appointment ceremony was held where all team members solemnly pledged to strictly adhere to project discipline and ensure its success. Yang Yiqing, Party Branch Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Qianjin Rubber & Plastic, serving as the factory project leader, expressed confidence and determination in the initiative, committing to lead the team in its full-scale advancement.

Comrade Zhao Zhenghong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Municipal Industry and Commerce Assets Company, and Secretary of the General Party Branch and Chairman of Qianjin Rubber & Plastic, stated that today's conference marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company, requiring profound transformation in both mindset and action. He emphasized three key points: First, establish a lean production system. Adopt a goal-oriented approach, confront and resolve historical legacy issues, and enhance the company's value creation capabilities by improving internal competencies, thereby achieving sustainable and healthy development. Second, lean transformation is imperative. We must maintain unwavering confidence and resolve in pursuing continuous change to ensure the effectiveness of lean production initiatives. Third, we must prioritize employees as the focal point and talent development as the objective. The principles and standards of lean production must be internalized in mindset and externalized in practice, enabling every employee to become both a participant in and beneficiary of lean production. Fourth, leadership must lead by example in driving shifts in mindset and behavior, fostering a strong culture of lean management to collectively achieve lean production goals.

With the successful conclusion of the conference, Qianjin Rubber & Plastic has embarked on a new journey toward lean production. This marks not only a transformation in management but also an elevation of our corporate spirit.
